BuLLETIN REDESIGN
SPECS: trifold, 8.5x11, full-color, perforation
This was the most fun I had while working for the church, not only because the design concept was fun, but the revamping of the bulletin was a puzzle I loved solving. Prior to this iteration of the bulletin, the church staff printed their own info sheets and anywhere from 2-5 half-sheet inserts were included weekly. What we did was made room for everyone, while also condensing information significantly.

We surveyed members of the congregation and ended up keeping the Order of Service, information prompt, and sermon notes. We then requested a perforated line on the third panel of the tri-fold that included upcoming events and a Ministry Spotlight - the congregation was encouraged to tear this out and use it as a bookmark for the week, praying over those ministries or passing them out to spread the information on events. The last 2 inches of that perforated panel was piece that members could request more info or write down prayer requests and place those into the offering boxes. This was a wonderful way to give people an immediate opportunity to get in touch.
